MAPPING..process photos
I have just finished this (yet untitled) painting. I have uploaded the process photos I took during March-May.
I was interested in liquidy movement below and still, rigid lines hanging or hovering above. A snippet of something diving into a turbulent place or soaring out of a solid form. I have been working back and forth between stillness and movement, liquid and solid, natural and artificial, immense and minute.
This is terrific, Aileen! The evolution sort of works as a piece of art of its own, it would look brilliant on a projection in your exhibitions!
