Invitación - Murnau Gallery. April 8
Group exhibition “Das Blatt Papier” in Murnau Gallery from the 8th of April to the 13th of May. The opening of the exhibition is on Friday, 8th of April at 20.30. All of the work in the exhibition is on paper.
I will show two relief drawings that utilize the characteristic qualities of paper. One is folded and bent and uses thread to extend the pencil drawing into open space above the piece. The other is cut and built up in layers. There is also a series of small scale drawings and paintings that pull together a variety of ideas and themes – sky pools, things that fall from skies, a drop in the ocean, anatomy of tiny spaces, the space between branches.
