There are amazing walls in Sevilla. I love the colours and the crumbling paint and plaster work. I took these photographs a few years ago when I was working in Castellar studios. At the time, I cropped them because I was only interested in photographing the paintings in day light. But now I see them differently and the backdrop seems just as important as the work I made there.

Lately, I find myself drawn closer to these city features and I´m reflecting on how they influence or they've influenced the work I´ve made in Sevilla.
