Ceramics

I'm busy doing a ceramic course in the official Escuela de arte in Seville. I started in September and I love it!

 

We've done projects that taught us a variety of techniques... pinching, coiling, slab construction, coloured clays, decorating with slip colour, piercing and making texture with stamps & press moulds. We've also tried clay modelling in our volumen class.

 

It's interesting to learn about different types of clay, firing and I'm so inspired by the ceramic work I've researched and seen in history class. I've learnt so much already!
