Ground Substance

Working on a series of drawings that describe systems within a landscape. In this drawing, I tried to weave elements from nature together in a cyclical motion and make the air fibrous and solid. Thinking about the substance and make up of the landscape, above and below the ground; and comparing it to a living organ that is connected to bone or rock by some type of ligament
