Wall Edge Drawings
The series of wall drawings in The Courthouse Gallery use arris points, edges and borders in the gallery.
Part of the drawings are hung at the point where two wall faces meet: At the edge of a column and a window and stairs. They explore the passing over between two planes and the flow across the edge; symmetry and balance and the point of in-between.
I enjoy how you have to go to the edges to view the work and importance is given to that architectural spot. Also, moving around the edge/drawing to see it spread onto the other side and to see through it.
The drawings are made from paper that is painted on both sides
