Systems

This is a new painting. It's titled Systems and it measures 100x100cm.


What I've been thinking about when making this painting...
I'm looking at the earth, the soil, the vegetation and the sky.
Zooming out until they appear like little worlds. Like dug up sods. Isolated like islands. Microcosmic systems.
The wind and energy pulsing through the landscape. Breathing. In and out.
Cycles. Movement over and back.
Organs working together and pumping.
